About the role
Key Responsibilities :- Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, prints, and global market trends .Develop new and innovative garment designs and collections based on buyer requirements and market trends .Prepare mood boards, theme boards, color stories, design concepts, and seasonal collections .Create detailed fashion illustrations, technical sketches, and design sheets .Select suitable fabrics, trims, accessories, colors, prints, and embellishments for each design .Develop and maintain design libraries, references, and seasonal trend boards .Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, pattern, production, fabric, and sourcing teams for design development .Work closely with the sampling team to convert designs into prototypes and samples .Review samples and provide necessary fit, styling, construction, color, and design corrections .Ensure that designs are commercially viable, production-friendly, and cost-effective .Develop designs according to buyer specification...
