The Manufacturing Process Engineer – Machined Components is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining machining and allied manufacturing processes across supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process Development & Optimization • Develop, document, and release machining process plans, operation sheets, and control plans for new and existing components. • Define cutting parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut) and tooling strategies to optimize cycle time, tool life, and surface finish • Evaluate and qualify cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and coolant systems from domestic and global tooling suppliers • Drive OEE improvement, and cost-per-piece reduction. • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and visual work instructions in English and Tamil as applicable.
