Public Affairs & Outreach Associate

We are looking for a sharp, practical, and highly observant Public Affairs & Governance Outreach Associate to support public research, stakeholder engagement, policy tracking, and community-level coordination for major public-facing initiatives.

The role requires someone who understands people, local issues, governance, public sentiment, and ground realities. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with communities, institutions, associations, local representatives, and senior stakeholders, and converting these inputs into clear reports, insights, and action plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Track local issues, public concerns, governance matters, and emerging community priorities.
• Conduct structured research through visits, conversations, surveys, and local observation.
• Prepare concise reports, briefing notes, stakeholder maps, and daily updates.
• Coordinate with community representatives, associations, institutions, and internal teams.
• Support planning and execution of outreach programs, meetings, visits, and public initiatives.
• Analyse public sentiment and help convert ground feedback into strategy and execution.
• Maintain organized data in Excel / Google Sheets.

Preferred Background

Political Science, Public Policy, Sociology, Journalism, Rural Development, Social Work, Law, Economics, or related fields.

Experience in public policy, political consulting, governance research, surveys, NGOs, media, student leadership, outreach programs, or community coordination will be preferred.
