Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist (BPT/MPT) to join our Ayurveda Treatment Centre in Muvattupuzha. The selected candidate will work closely with Ayurvedic physicians and rehabilitation professionals to provide integrated physiotherapy services for patients suffering from orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, sports injury, post-operative, and chronic pain conditions. The role combines modern physiotherapy practices with Ayurveda-based rehabilitation programs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions, mobility, posture, strength, and functional limitations.
  
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient needs and physician recommendations.
  
• Administer physiotherapy interventions including exercise therapy, manual therapy, rehabilitation techniques, and electrotherapy modalities where appropriate.
  
• Support and integrate physiotherapy treatments with Ayurvedic rehabilitation programs.
  
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and recovery protocols.
  
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
  
• Educate patients regarding posture correction, ergonomics, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
  
• Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment notes, and progress reports.
  
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of physiotherapy equipment.
  
• Collaborate with Ayurvedic doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
  
• Participate in health awareness programs, patient counseling sessions, and rehabilitation initiatives.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) from a recognized institution.
  
• Valid registration with the State Physiotherapy Council.
  
• Freshers as well as experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, and rehabilitation physiotherapy.
  
• Interest or experience in Ayurveda-integrated rehabilitation will be an added advantage.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
