About the Role
Budha College is starting India’s first-ever government-approved Bachelor’s Degree Program in Content Creation. We’re looking for a hands-on faculty member who can teach students how to shoot, edit, write, publish, and improve content through real projects. The focus is practice, projects, and student output.
What You’ll Do
- Teach students how to create content for Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, and brands
- Train students in video shooting, mobile production, video production & lighting, and audio
- Teach video editing for reels, YouTube videos, interviews, and short-form content
- Help students write scripts, hooks, captions, and content ideas
- Guide students during shoots, edits, and practical assignments
- Help students understand content formats, trends, and storytelling
- Support students in building their content portfolios
- Assist the Program Head in classes, projects, reviews, and student output
- Run practical classroom exercises and content challenges
- Help students publish, review, and improve their work regularly
What We’re Looking For
- Good practical knowledge of video creation
- Good understanding of editing, storytelling, and social media content
- Comfortable with tools like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
- Good understanding of camera, mobile shooting, lighting, and audio
- Ability to explain concepts in simple words
- Ability to work with beginners and make them confident
- Good communication skills
- Project-based teaching style
- Someone who is active, practical, and comfortable working in a studio/classroom setup
- Proof of work matters more than certificates
Bonus If You
- Have made reels, YouTube videos, podcasts, ads, or brand content
- Have worked as an editor, creator, social media person, or video producer
- Have taught students, interns, creators, or teams before
- Understand current trends on Instagram and YouTube
- Can help students improve their confidence on camera
- Know thumbnail basics, captions, hooks, and content packaging
- Believe students learn best by creating real work
