About the Role

Biosys is looking for an experienced Country Director to establish and lead its India operations. The successful candidate will drive commercial growth, oversee regulatory processes, develop government and private sector business, and build a high-performing local organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Biosys India's market strategy.
• Build and lead the local sales, service and regulatory teams.
• Drive sales growth across government and private healthcare sectors.
• Manage distributor and key customer relationships.
• Lead CDSCO registration and regulatory compliance processes.
• Oversee participation in GeM and other government tenders.
• Establish local operations, technical support and supply chain.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and business performance.
• Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing country or regional operations.
• Strong background in ICU, ventilation or critical care products.
• Hands-on knowledge of CDSCO registration and Indian regulatory requirements.
• Experience with GeM and government procurement is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial, financial and people management skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA is an advantage.

Candidates will prepare and present a short case on Biosys India's market entry strategy, including commercial priorities and execution approach.

Stage 4 – Final Interview (Culture & Leadership Fit)

Final discussion with senior leadership focusing on leadership style, values, communication, and long-term alignment with Biosys.
