Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for the Transmission & Distribution business, supporting project and corporate hiring requirements across domestic and international locations. The role focuses on timely closures, stakeholder management, process improvement, and MIS/reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment
Manage complete recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, documentation, and onboarding. Handle bulk, lateral, and niche hiring for T&D roles (Engineering, Project, Construction, QA/QC, Planning, EHS, Design, etc.). Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand manpower requirements and timelines. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline
Drive sourcing through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.), referrals, vendors, and direct sourcing. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for ongoing and upcoming T&D projects. Increase direct sourcing to reduce dependency on recruitment vendors. Interviews & Offer Management
Schedule and coordinate interviews (virtual and in-person). Manage offer creation, negotiation, release, and acceptance tracking. Ensure smooth candidate engagement till joining to minimize dropouts. Partner with Hiring Managers and Project Teams for requirement clarity and interview coordination. Manage recruitment vendors: empanelment, performance tracking, rate negotiation, and compliance. Ensure alignment with offer approvals, parity checks, and hiring budgets. MIS, Reporting & Process Improvement
Maintain accurate recruitment MIS, trackers, and dashboards. Monitor TAT, source mix, and hiring effectiveness; share regular updates with leadership. Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvements to enhance hiring efficiency. Compliance & Coordination
Support documentation, background verification, medicals, and onboarding processes. Coordinate for international hiring requirements (visas, deployment documentation) as applicable. Ensure recruitment activities adhere to company policies and compliance standards. Key Skills & Competencies
Any Graduate with MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant specialization. Strong experience in EPC / Infrastructure / T&D hiring Excellent stakeholder and candidate management skills Strong sourcing and negotiation capabilities Data-driven approach with strong MIS and reporting skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and recruitment systems Preferred Experience
Exposure to international or project-based hiring (Middle East/Africa preferred) Experience supporting large-scale project mobilizations and recruitment drives
