- Use Modern C++ (C++11/14/17) features to write clean, efficient, and robust code.
- Implement and optimize software components using STL, templates, and generic programming techniques.
- Develop multithreaded and concurrent modules ensuring thread safety and scalability.
- Participate in architectural discussions, apply design patterns, and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Write efficient algorithms and ensure optimal time and space complexity.
- Debug, profile, and optimize performance-critical sections of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to team members.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
---
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills (Mandatory):
Modern C++ — 70% weightage:
- Strong hands-on expertise in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17) features including smart pointers, lambdas, move semantics, concurrency, and auto/type inference.
- Deep understanding of STL — containers, algorithms, iterators, and function objects.
- Proven experience in multithreading — mutexes, locks, condition variables, atomics, and thread pools.
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns — Factory, Singleton, Observer, Strategy, and others.
- Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms with complexity analysis (time and space).
- Experience with build tools such as CMake, Make, or GCC.
- Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools — GDB, Valgrind, and Perf.
Linux — 30% weightage:
- Hands-on development experience on Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Linux system-level concepts relevant to C++ application development.
- Comfortable working in a Linux command-line environment for build, debug, and deployment tasks.
Good to Have:
- Experience in Semiconductor or EDA/FPGA domain.
- Knowledge of RAII, RTTI, type casting, and advanced template programming.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
---
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
---
SOFT SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration and cross-functional coordination ability.
- Thorough documentation and knowledge-sharing practices.
- Analytical mindset with a structured problem-solving approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
---
EVALUATION CRITERIA
- Modern C++ (C++11/14/17), STL, Multithreading, Design Patterns, DSA: 70%
- Linux (system development, toolchain, command-line proficiency): 30%
---
CODING ASSESSMENT TOPICS
Candidates will be evaluated on the following:
- Implement internal working of smart pointers and STL containers from scratch.
- Write thread-safe design patterns — RAII, RTTI, type casting, and templates.
- STL time and space complexity analysis.
- Coding problems: Merge two sorted arrays, print odd-even numbers using two threads, reverse a linked list.
---
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates with 4–10 years of strong C++ and Linux development experience in a semiconductor or systems engineering environment are encouraged to apply. Please share your updated resume along with your current CTC, expected CTC, notice period, and confirmation of availability for on-site work at Hyderabad.
