We are seeking a dynamic and creative TIE Coordinator with a background in theatre education and literature to manage and coordinate calendar events in our school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a variety of educational and extracurricular activities that enrich the students' experience and foster a love for the arts and literature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development:
- Design and develop engaging programs and activities that incorporate theatre and literature for students of all ages.
- Create lesson plans, workshops, and events that promote creative expression and literary appreciation.
- Event Coordination:
- Coordinate the school’s annual calendar of events, including theatre productions, literary events, assemblies, and other extracurricular activities.
- Manage logistics for events, including scheduling, venue selection, equipment setup, and participant registration.
- Instruction and Facilitation:
- Lead and facilitate theatre and literature workshops, classes, and rehearsals.
- Mentor and guide students in developing their skills and confidence in performing arts and literary analysis.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and community partners to enhance program offerings and integrate activities into the school curriculum.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages participation from diverse student groups.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of event attendance, participation, and program outcomes.
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for activities and events.
- Prepare reports on program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Promotion and Outreach:
- Promote school events and activities through various channels, including newsletters, social media, and community bulletins.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and the community to build support and awareness for school programs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Theatre Education, Literature, or a related field.
- Experience in directing theatre productions or leading literary discussions.
