Job Description
Manage industrial relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. Act as a liaison between management and employees to address grievances and resolve disputes. Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture. Coordinate with unions and represent the organisation in negotiations and discussions. Monitor and manage employee performance and disciplinary actions as required. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards across the workplace. Prepare reports and documentation related to industrial relations activities. Support HR initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Human Resources department. The Successful Applicant
A successful IR Specialist should have:
A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations within the automotive industry. Experience in handling union negotiations and employee grievances. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels. Problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset. Proficiency in report writing and documentation. A proactive approach to maintaining a harmonious workplace environment.
