JOB DESCRIPTION – SCRAP MANAGER Job Purpose The Scrap Manager will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of scrap and waste generated at the plant, including identification, collection, segregation, weighing, storage, inventory control, sale, recycling and final disposal. The role will focus on maximizing scrap realization, minimizing material losses and avoidable waste, ensuring proper inventory and movement controls, and maintaining compliance with applicable environmental, safety and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. Scrap & Waste Management Manage end-to-end scrap operations, including collection, identification, segregation, weighing, storage, sale, recycling and disposal. Ensure proper segregation and handling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, packaging materials, paper/carton, wood, used oil, e-waste and other applicable waste streams.
