Role Description This is a full-time, on-site teaching role based in Barmer. The Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in history, geography, political studies, dance, and music, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs. The Teacher will organize and coordinate class activities, performances, and cultural programs, while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues and communication with parents or guardians about student progress are integral parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and subject knowledge in history, geography, political studies, dance, and music.
- Proficiency in Teaching and Training, with experience engaging learners of different age groups and abilities.
- Skill in Lesson Planning, including designing structured, creative, and learner-centered lessons.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject areas; formal training in performing arts is an advantage.
- Prior classroom teaching experience, preferably in a school setting and with CBSE or similar curricula.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively, use modern teaching methods, and integrate co-curricular activities.
