Forecast procurement requirements in collaboration with department heads to ensure timely and efficient sourcing of goods and services
Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to support mutual success
Manage purchasing systems and approval workflows, ensuring purchase orders, supplier setup, pricing, contract terms, and approval limits are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policy
Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve delivery discrepancies, pricing variances, and supplier invoice queries in a timely and professional manner
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms strategically to achieve optimal value, quality, and service levels
Source and evaluate new suppliers and products to enhance quality, efficiency, sustainability, and innovation
Support organizational sustainability and responsible sourcing objectives by identifying local, ethical, and environmentally responsible suppliers where commercially viable
Monitor and analyze procurement budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control initiatives to maximize financial efficiency
Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to optimize spending and maintain financial compliance and transparency
Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstock situations
Mitigate risks related to supplier reliability, quality, delivery, and supply chain disruptions
Maintain proper documentation, contracts, and records for auditing and reporting purposes
Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, cost savings, and operational efficiency for executive review

Qualifications
Proven track record in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management with demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure
Proficiency with procurement and inventory management systems
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with professional demeanor and ability to articulate ideas clearly
Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in data analysis and financial acumen for budget management and cost optimization
Knowledge of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards
