Role Description The Front Office Intern is a full-time, on-site role based at our property in Candolim. This role supports the front desk with welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and providing accurate information about rooms, facilities, and local attractions. The intern assists with handling phone calls, responding to guest inquiries, and coordinating appointments or reservations in a timely and professional manner. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining front office records, ensuring the lobby and reception area remain tidy, and collaborating with other departments to resolve guest requests. The role offers hands-on exposure to hotel operations, giving the intern an opportunity to learn best practices in hospitality, guest relations, and front office procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Receptionist Duties skills to support guest-facing interactions and front desk operations.
- Candidates should possess solid Phone Etiquette and Appointment Scheduling skills to manage calls, reservations, and guest requests efficiently.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office or reservation software are beneficial.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in hospitality and willingness to learn front office procedures; prior internship or customer-facing experience is an advantage.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Candolim, including weekends and holidays as required.
