Role Description This is a full-time, on-site faculty role based in Roorkee, with openings at the Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels in Computer Science and Engineering/AIML, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and MBA departments. The role involves designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions; mentoring and advising students; and developing and updating course materials aligned with academic and industry standards. Faculty members are expected to engage in research and scholarly activities, publish in reputed journals and conferences, and participate in curriculum development and departmental initiatives. Additional responsibilities include supervising student projects, contributing to academic committees, supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes, and engaging in outreach and industry collaboration as needed.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualifications: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering/AIML, ECE, Management, or a closely related discipline, from a recognized university.
- Teaching and pedagogy: Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, design syllabi, develop learning resources, and use modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
- Research and scholarship: Evidence of research work through publications, conference presentations, patents, funded projects, or ongoing research in relevant domains.
- Technical and subject expertise: Strong knowledge in core and advanced areas of CSE/AIML, ECE, or Management; ability to integrate emerging trends, tools, and practices into teaching and research.
- Student engagement and mentoring: Skills in academic advising, project supervision, guiding internships, and supporting student development through co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and academic committees.
- Professional development and service: Commitment to continuous learning, participation in workshops, conferences, and training programs, and contribution to institutional development and community outreach.
- Preferred experience: Prior teaching experience in higher education, familiarity with accreditation processes (such as NAAC and NBA), and industry exposure or consultancy experience in relevant fields.
