Role Purpose-
Responsible to protect workers from job-related injuries and illnesses, identify and mitigate physical, chemical and biological hazards in the workplace as well as improving training and communications that clearly explain the company objectives for promoting a safe and healthy workspace.
Roles & Responsibilities-
- Make the yearly safety calendar in order to improve the safety activities
- Execute risk assessment & KYT (Danger prediction) process as per the plan to control/minimize the positional hazard in the process
- Co-ordinate with the respective department head to set the safety process parameters
- Organize monthly departmental audits for all the plants in order to ensure safe practices & environment for the employees
- Conduct the plant safety inspection/safety patrol throughout the plant to ensure to identify/minimize the unsafe acts /condition
- Prepare the safety manual and update on frequent intervals in order to ensure the correct safety standard
- Implement the work permit system in order to regulate the non-routine works
- Ensure quality and availability of PPE
- Design and conduct safety training and educational programmes for the prevention of personal injuries and safety awareness
- Organize safety and environmental awareness trainings for all the operators/ staff (new joinees)
- Conduct trainings as per requirement of the organization regards to safety, environmental, awareness and induction trainings to all employees
- Investigate all accidents and near miss incidents to avoid them in the future
- Coordinate with all departments to provide assistance in analyse all accidents and take countermeasures
- Support & co-ordinate smooth functioning safety committee and tool box/communication meetings
- Execute the all applicable legal compliance related to local /state level safety laws
- Prepare & execute annual 5s plan in order to improve the 5s standards
- Support the general administration activities

Role Requirements-
-B.E./B.Tech./Diploma- Mechanical + Diploma- Safety/HSE (must have)
-8-12 years of total experience
-Industry Exposure- Manufacturing/Auto/Chemical
