Job Summary
The Vice President – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end revenue cycle operations, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and enhancing client satisfaction. The role focuses on optimizing processes, maximizing revenue realization, and building scalable, high-performing RCM operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute RCM strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and scalability
- Partner with executive leadership on long-term growth initiatives
- Lead transformation initiatives including automation and digital adoption
Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end RCM lifecycle including:
- Patient/Client onboarding, eligibility & authorization
- Charge capture, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS where applicable)
- Claim submission & clearinghouse management
- Payment posting and reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-ups and collections
- Denial management, appeals, and write-offs
- Establish and maintain productivity, quality, and TAT standards
Financial Management
- Drive revenue realization, collections, and cash flow improvement
- Reduce AR days and minimize denials and revenue leakage
- Track and improve key financial metrics and KPIs
- Manage budgets, cost optimization, and profitability
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations (CMS, HIPAA, payer guidelines)
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance standards
- Implement quality assurance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead internal audits and corrective action plans
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Handle escalations, governance calls, and performance reviews (QBRs)
- Support new client onboarding, transitions, and expansions
- Drive high client satisfaction and retention
People Leadership
- Lead large RCM teams comprising Managers, AVPs, and Directors
- Build leadership pipeline and succession planning
- Drive performance management, training, and employee engagement
- Enable a high-performance and accountability-driven culture

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
- MBA / Healthcare Management preferred
- Industry certifications (AAPC, AHIMA, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) are a plus
Experience
- 15–20+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles (Director / AVP / VP)
- Experience managing large teams and multi-client operations
- Exposure to healthcare billing and reimbursement processes
