Job Description Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the rebar and mold fabrication workshop, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Interpret and verify structural drawings, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and engineering revisions to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 100+ skilled workers, including welders, cutters, and fitters, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
- Enforce strict adherence to dimensional accuracy, quality standards, and safety protocols across all fabrication processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce material waste, increase efficiency, and enhance output consistency.
- Conduct regular on-floor inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve technical challenges and support design adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of fabrication progress, material usage, and workforce performance.
- Ensure all workshop equipment and tools are properly maintained and operated safely.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen technical capabilities and safety awareness.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in rebar fabrication, mold manufacturing, or precast concrete production.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, high-volume fabrication teams in industrial or infrastructure environments.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting structural drawings, BBS, and technical specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of welding standards, steel fabrication techniques, and material properties.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and site-specific risk mitigation protocols.
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools, CNC cutters, bending machines, and quality control instruments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, resources, and workflow under tight project deadlines.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding workshop environment with variable shifts.

Requirements 5 – 10 Years (Minimum 4 years of solid experience supervising heavy rebar cage assembly, structural welding, or steel mold fabrication in a precast casting yard or major industrial infrastructure setup)
