Hiring Immediately Diploma Programme Biology Teacher For An IB School Located In Kunkni, Surat

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme Biology curriculum.
  
• Create an inquiry-driven classroom environment that promotes conceptual understanding and student-led learning.
  
• Design and assess formative and summative tasks in accordance with IB assessment criteria.
  
• Guide students in planning and executing their Internal Assessments (IAs), Extended Essays (EE), and Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) where applicable.
  
• Integrate technology, experiments, and cross-disciplinary learning in classroom instruction.
  
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and progress reports.
  
• Provide academic mentorship and pastoral care to students.
  
• Participate in curriculum review, collaborative planning, and IB training workshops.
  
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives, events, and professional development activities.
  
• Uphold the school’s values of integrity, respect, and lifelong learning in all interactions.
  

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
  
• Proficient in integrating digital tools and online learning platforms.
  
• Passion for inquiry-based education and student-centered pedagogy.
  

Grades: Diploma Programme (Grades 11 & 12)

Work Timings: Monday to Saturday | 7:40 AM – 3:45 PM

(Occasional extended hours may be required based on school needs)

Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹80,000 per month
