Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assess biology lessons for senior secondary classes (Classes XI & XII) adhering to CBSE, IGCSE and A‑Level curricula.
Develop engaging, activity‑based and inquiry‑driven teaching materials that foster critical thinking and scientific curiosity.
Mentor and guide students for board examinations, internal assessments, and competitive science contests.
Participate in curriculum development, periodic review of syllabus, and implementation of innovative pedagogical strategies.
Collaborate with departmental heads and senior management to align teaching practices with the school’s vision and boarding environment.
Conduct extra‑curricular science activities, workshops, field trips and laboratory sessions.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports.
Engage with parents and guardians through meetings, conferences and written communications to discuss student development.
Uphold the school’s safety standards, especially in laboratory settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
Contribute to faculty development programmes, school events and community outreach initiatives.

Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biology or a related life‑science discipline from a recognized university.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) certification as per CBSE guidelines.
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) – essential for IGCSE/A‑Level instruction.
Clear background check and eligibility to work in India.

Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (Class XI/XII) in CBSE, Cambridge IGCSE or Cambridge A‑Level streams.
Demonstrated experience in laboratory management and conducting practical experiments.
Experience in boarding school settings is an advantage.
Track record of improving student academic performance and inspiring interest in biological sciences.
Active participation in professional development seminars, workshops or science fairs.
