Position: Lead Bench Sales Recruiter (OPT/CPT & H-1B)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Bench Sales Recruiter to build and manage a strong pipeline of IT consultants for the U.S. staffing market. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bench sales, OPT recruitment, H-1B transfer hiring, consultant marketing and vendor management .
This role requires someone who can proactively identify high-potential candidates, build a strong internal bench and successfully market consultants to direct clients, implementation partners, and prime vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Bench Building & Talent Acquisition
- Build and maintain a strong bench of qualified IT consultants.
- Identify and recruit high-quality OPT/CPT, STEM OPT, H-1B Transfer, Green Card, and U.S. Citizen candidates.
- Develop sourcing strategies to continuously build a pipeline of consultants across various technologies.
- Screen and evaluate candidates based on technical skills, communication, and client readiness.
- Maintain an active database of consultants available for immediate projects.
OPT Recruitment
- Source fresh graduates from universities and job portals.
- Recruit and onboard OPT/CPT and STEM OPT candidates.
- Educate candidates on project opportunities and career paths.
- Coordinate documentation and onboarding for new consultants.
- Build long-term relationships with universities, training institutes, and candidate communities.
H-1B Transfer Recruitment
- Identify experienced H-1B professionals interested in transferring employers.
- Recruit consultants for immediate project opportunities.
- Coordinate with the immigration team regarding H-1B transfer documentation.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and project alignment for transferred consultants.
Bench Sales & Marketing
- Market consultants to implementation partners, prime vendors, MSPs, and direct clients.
- Match consultant profiles with client requirements.
- Submit consultants to relevant job opportunities.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups.
- Negotiate billing rates and placement terms.
- Manage the entire consultant marketing lifecycle until successful placement.
Vendor & Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with implementation partners and vendors across the U.S.
- Expand the vendor network for increased placement opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and vendors regarding available consultants.
- Develop strategic partnerships to maximize consultant placements.
Recruitment Operations
- Maintain consultant records in ATS/CRM systems.
- Track daily submissions, interviews, offers, placements, and closures.
- Generate recruitment and bench sales reports.
- Ensure all candidate documentation is complete and compliant.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in U.S. IT Staffing , Bench Sales, or OPT Recruitment.
- Strong experience building an internal bench of IT consultants.
- Proven experience recruiting OPT/CPT, STEM OPT, and H-1B Transfer candidates.
- Excellent understanding of the U.S. staffing lifecycle.
- Experience marketing consultants to vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
