- Master’s Degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- Ph.D. preferred
- Strong exposure to both industry and academic environments
Role Overview:
Chandigarh University is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and industry-oriented professional for the role of Assistant Director – Global School of Finance & Accounting (GSFA). The candidate will be responsible for leading academic operations, strengthening industry collaborations, driving student engagement initiatives, and managing departmental administration while ensuring excellence in teaching-learning practices and industry alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise academic and administrative operations of GSFA
- Develop strong industry collaborations for internships, training, placements, certifications, and live projects
- Coordinate with faculty, students, and university departments for smooth operational functioning
- Lead student engagement activities including workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, and events
- Support curriculum enhancement aligned with current industry trends and professional requirements
- Mentor students for career development, employability, and professional growth
- Ensure departmental compliance with university policies, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
- Monitor departmental performance, reporting, documentation, and process improvements
- Support admissions, outreach activities, branding initiatives, and strategic planning
- Build a professional, industry-oriented, and student-centric learning ecosystem within the department
