Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Machine Learning & Generative AI Architect to lead our initiatives in advanced AI technologies. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and overseeing machine learning models and generative AI solutions, particularly on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, cloud architecture, and strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for machine learning and generative AI that aligns with business objectives.
Architectural Design:
Lead the architectural design of scalable machine learning and AI systems on Azure, ensuring robust integration with existing platforms.
Team Development:
Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI researchers.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business units, to identify opportunities for AI integration.
Research & Innovation:
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning; advocate for innovative solutions and methodologies.
Performance Monitoring:
Establish metrics for success and monitor the performance of machine learning models to ensure optimal functionality.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Present findings, strategies, and updates to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
10+ years of experience in machine learning, AI, and data analytics, with a focus on cloud-based solutions (Azure preferred).
Proven experience in designing and deploying machine learning architectures, particularly within Azure environments.
Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and frameworks.
Leadership experience in managing and developing high-performance teams.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation in the AI space.
