Job Overview
We are looking for a sharp and highly capable
Python SRE Developer
with strong expertise in automation, infrastructure reliability, SRE practices, and Atlassian migration support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building automation tools, maintaining system reliability, enhancing observability, and supporting migration activities while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Python Automation (Must-Have)
Develop robust automation scripts using Python for API interactions, data extraction, transformation, and cleanup.
Build reusable tools to reduce manual effort and operational toil across systems.
Write clean, well-structured code with strong error handling and optimization.
🔹 SRE Responsibilities (Must-Have)
Implement and maintain
SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
to ensure system reliability.
Reduce operational toil through automation and process optimization.
Conduct
RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
for system failures and performance issues.
🔹 Infrastructure as Code (Must-Have)
Manage and provision infrastructure using
Terraform
or
Ansible
.
Maintain consistent, reproducible, and scalable environments.
🔹 Observability (Good-to-Have)
Set up monitoring, dashboards, and alerting using
Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
, or similar tools.
Improve system transparency and performance visibility.
🔹 Atlassian Migration Support (Good-to-Have)
Support migrations of
Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
from Server/Data Center to Cloud.
Assist in planning, discovery, user/data mapping, risk mitigation, and cutover activities.
🔹 CI/CD & SDLC Workflows (Good-to-Have)
Work with
GitHub Actions, Jenkins
, or similar tools to maintain and modernize CI/CD workflows.
🔹 Troubleshooting & System Debugging (Must-Have)
Diagnose issues, investigate performance problems, and resolve blockers quickly.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement long-term fixes.
🔹 Stakeholder & Client Communication (Must-Have)
Communicate technical details clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide updates, explain solutions, and ensure smooth collaboration.
🔹 Ownership & Leadership (Good-to-Have)
